I write books that take you on a ride as the characters do things they really shouldn’t.

Oh, visiting that cult in a rural area who are surrounded by mysterious rumours? Sure, didn’t want to hang out on the beach in Cancun anyway. Would much rather be sacrificed on my 2 weeks vacation this year.

I love / hate them just as much as you do.

While the beginnings of their stories may frustrate, I love how you see the characters grow over the course of the book or movie.

How they muster the courage and strength to fight for their lives, and protect those around them.

Besides thrillers I love books and movies about zombies, people falling in love and sci fi.

I’m a 30 something Australian with an obsession for Netflix, Kindle Unlimited and my family. When I’m not writing I’m out exploring my beautiful country and trying to convince myself I like camping (its the grass guys, too many ants).

The book should be out around mid to late 2022.

2. What age group are your books suitable for?

Aimed at adult readers. These books contain gore and dehumanising acts. They may not be suitable for teenagers and are especially not suitable for young children.

3. Do you write any other books?

Yes, I write chicklit / romcom books for adults under the pen name Lyla Spade, and YA under Lyla M Spade. You can find them both on Lyla Spade.com

4. What type of books are coming up?

At the moment I’m only writing this upcoming book, but I have some ideas around travel based thrillers for the next book.
